Pigeonnier de Tivoli is a converted early 19th century dovecot, constructed of local stone and wooden beams. It is tiled throughout which gives a light and airy feel, and wherever possible the stone and wood have been left exposed so that guests can appreciate the true character of the property and admiring the quality of the local craftsmanship.

Sympathetically restored, the Pigeonnier is essentially one room set over 4 floors.

InteriorAt ground level there is stone staircase which leads to the front door, this in turn opens onto a cosy lounge/dining room with fitted kitchen, dining table and chairs, and two leather armchairs. It has dual aspect windows overlooking the drive and pool. There is also a flat screen TV (playing English channels), dvd player and stacked music centre.

In one corner a handmade wooden spiral staircase takes you up to the two upper floors and down to the cave (basement).

BedroomOn the first floor there is a double bedroom with French windows onto a balcony which looks out onto the swimming pool. Off the bedroom/landing there is a separate shower and toilet.

On the second floor (the attic) there are two comfortable single beds with a chest drawers for storage and a small window which looks out onto the surrounding fields.

In the cave there is a walk-in wet room, separate toilet, washing machine and storage facilities. There are doors that lead up a walkway to the pool and terrace area.

Outside

Fully private with electric security cover and corner steps, the pool is 1 x 6m and has a depth from 1m to 2.20 m. The pool is surrounded by tiles.

exteriorAt one end of the pool there are steps that lead up to a tiled terrace area. Situated between two trees (which provide essential shade during the day) you can sit and enjoy an al-fresco meal or just relax and listen to the peace and quiet . There are lights around the pool and terrace, and the pool benefits from underwater lighting.

There are numerous sun loungers/modern deck chairs, table and chairs on the terrace, and a BBQ.
